Privacy Policy
You can play Pocket Hamlet (the "App") without creating an account. We do not run any servers. What you do in the App (the villages you make, your seeds, your collection, and so on) is stored only on your device. We never receive it.
This policy explains how the operator of the App ("we") handles information in the App. The Japanese version is the original; this English version is a translation.
1. Information stored on your device
To let you continue playing and to remember your settings, the App stores the following on your device. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else.

This information is deleted when you clear the App's data in your device settings or uninstall the App. We have no copy of it, so we cannot restore it.
If Android backup (backup to Google Drive) is turned on in your device settings, this information may be backed up to your Google Account by Android and restored to a new device, for example when you change phones. This backup is provided by Google, and we cannot see its contents. You can choose whether to use backup in your device settings.
2. Sharing
When you tap the share button, the share code (the seed and world settings for a village) or an image of the board is passed to another app you choose (messaging, email, etc.). After that, it is handled under the terms of that app's provider. We do not receive what you share.
A seed contains the words you typed as they are. Please do not put your own or other people's names, or anything you would not want others to see, in a seed you share.
3. Purchases (full version)
The full version is purchased through Google Play billing. Your payment details (such as card numbers) are handled by Google, and we do not receive them.
When you make a purchase, Google provides us with a purchase record such as the order number, date and time, item, price, and country or region. We use it to confirm purchases, handle refunds and inquiries, manage sales, and keep records required by law.
The App communicates with Google Play to check whether you have purchased the full version. This is the only time the App connects to the internet.
4. Google Play
The App is distributed through Google Play. Information handled in connection with distribution and purchases on Google Play is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
We may look at statistics provided in the Google Play Console (such as the number of installs, and the number of times the App stopped along with technical records from those times) to improve the App. These are compiled by Google and are not used by us to identify individual users.
5. Contact
Please send inquiries by email to the address below. We use your email address and message only to reply and respond, and delete them, oldest first, once one year has passed after the matter is closed.
We do not provide information received through inquiries or purchase records to third parties, except with your consent or where permitted by law. Requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, deletion, etc. of such information are accepted at the same address and handled in accordance with the law.
6. Security and retention
The only information we receive is purchase records and the content of inquiries. We keep them within our Google Play Console and email accounts, protected with two-step verification, so that only the operator can access them. Information stored on your device is kept in an area that only the App can use and cannot be read by other apps.

7. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we will announce the new content and its effective date on this page before it takes effect, and record it in the revision history below.
